Very soon we will know who will be the next president of the United States. With the countdown to the election in full force, modern politics has combined with technology to help shape the social landscape with Carpool2Vote.com and the first-ever free ride-sharing app to the polls. The non-partisan app seeks to empower women voters and increase voter turnout by connecting voters needing a ride to the polls and by inspiring civic engagement.
To celebrate we are launching the Women Votes Youtube Channel today with a power series of public service announcements created by the Fall 2016 Class at the Washington Media Institute to further help spread the word and share their millennial voices. See our official launch videos below:
A Call To Action is now in progress to recruit drivers and riders across the United States to download the Carpool2Vote app and sign up.
As a volunteer-based initiative, the more drivers that exist means the more people Carpool2Vote can help to the polls on November 8th.

Women Votes and #Carpool2Vote are bi-partisan initiatives whose mission is to empower women to vote and run for elected office. To further spread the word, Carpool2Vote is being promoted by AMC Networks Inc., which will support outreach and inspire civic engagement through online support on its corporate website and network websites. AMC Networks Inc. owns and operates several of the most popular and award-winning brands in cable television: AMC, BBC AMERICA, IFC, SundanceTV, and WE tv.
Co-founded by Nicole Wild Merl and Thomas Cook, Carpool2Vote is a digital platform of The WomenVotes.org blog and social platforms, which were created by the first-ever virtual Education Cooperative from Northeastern University College of Professional Studies for the public benefit. The app was designed by Justin Insalaco, the CEO of 3BDreams, with the help of his team including Chief Architect, Matt Young, and Advisor Will Donovan.
